A juicy assortment of sharings, showings and sets - from the unfolding, in-process, and vulnerably fresh, to the rediscovered, revised and reiterated. Potential nudity, foul language, tears, rage, softness, reverence, irreverence and absurdity all welcome. Art Land is a night where we explore what it means to be human and to connect through art, and learn what we can co-create from bringing ourselves to the table together.
We kick off with an open mic/open stage sesh (10 slots of 5 minutes) for anyone who wants to share something they love doing. Later in the night will be scheduled slots for featured artists to share more developed material with space for dancefloor and hang time.

🐝Longer sets of original music and arty grooving from 9pm til around 11:30
*Suggested donation to kitty, which supports the offsetting of costs for featured artists and key contributors (ideally, we would pay more artist fees beyond costs covered - if enough folks attend and chip in, we may be able to)

Venue is a magical bushland community space in Monbulk (Wurundjeri land). The central space is wheelchair accessible including toilet. Address provided closer to time.
We know Monbulk is far for a lot of people, and if that's true for you, you can camp over if you like - there's lots of serene bush land for you to pitch a tent and wander home the next day, and the sleepovers are getting a bit cosy and epic!
