Join us for another exciting National Play Outside Day event!
These events are held on the first Saturday of every month at various locations in and around Chattanooga to help promote outdoor play for children and their families.
This is a 2 mile hike round trip to Mushroom Rock. It’s out and back on the same relatively flat trail. Please be aware this is leaving from the top of the mountain, NOT the Suck Creek entrance that will pull up if you google Mushroom Rock.

Requirements: ALL attendees MUST have a 2025 waiver on file. Forms for minors are to be completed by a legal guardian.

Meet by the trailhead to the right (by the wood stairs) at the end of the oval gravel parking lot.
Please make sure everyone in your group is dressed in weather appropriate clothing. Kids should wear clothes that are okay to get dirty, wet, or otherwise messed up. Consider bringing a spare set for afterwards. We also recommend bringing water and some snacks.
