Maker Lab: Simple Spinner Circuit Art (registration required)

A circuit is a closed loop that allows electrical current to flow. It provides a pathway for electrons to move from a power source, through a device, and back to the source in an unbroken loop. This is how devices are powered! Using a basic motor, battery pack, and switch, science kids and junior engineers will learn to construct their own spinning device before using it to make spinner art and even a moving zoetrope animation! This program is for youth ages 7-11. Registration required at webtrac.sierravistaaz.gov.
