Stiperstones area (Shropshire) 9-mile walk

The walk explores the lesser-walked North and West section of the Stiperstones. Passing through Bergum Wood and onto a green lane we steadily climb to the summit of Green Hill then onto Blakemoorflat with great views of the rugged landscape. We then loop around Lordshill onto Brook Vessons Nature Reserve, a wildlife haven with at times quite vague paths! After lunch at Blakemoorgate cottages, we first climb to Shepherd's Rock before descending to Tankerville where we pass its historic lead mine before returning to the start.
