Paddle UK Canoe Award

If you are a canoeist who is already confident and efficient in paddling independently in the sheltered water environment wishing to explore other water ways this is the course for you.

Over a 2 day ongoing training and assessment the Canoe Award will develop your personal paddling and decision making skills in the open water environment with winds up to force 3 and on grade 1 rivers.

The award will endorse your skill, judgment and decision making when journeying so you can have a fun and safe day out canoeing. The award will provide you with a sound basis for building the experience and knowledge associated with the Progressive Canoe Award.

All Kit and Equipment such as Wetsuits, Bouyancy Aids, Boats and Paddles are included but bring your own if you have them.
