Join us for our 81st Rhubarb at The Triangle, with guest poet Faye Marshall plus an always brilliant open mic that you can sign up for on the night.

Faye Marshall is a poet and spoken word artist who founded the Cloth and Coal poetry community in south Leeds and has hosted workshops and panels in the UK, Europe, the Americas and South East Asia. Her poetry has been published in several anthologies, and her debut pamphlet, Throwing Sugar on the Fire, was published by Yaffle Press in May 2025.

Rhubarb is a pay-as-you feel event that welcomes poetry & prose readers on an open mic in the first half, followed by a headline set from an invited guest. If you want to read on the open mic, please book with us when you arrive. We generally offer 10 open mic slots of up to 4 minutes (squeezing in a few extras when we can). As always, listeners are also very welcome.
