Learn to Knit Socks Cuff down- 2 Part Class

Want to learn how to knit your own socks? This 2 part workshop is for you!

During the first session we will look at sock construction, sizing, yarns and the variety of needles that you can use to create your own socks.

The course includes a ball of double knit yarn, and there is a selection of needles to purchase based on your preferred method of knitting in the round (you can have a try at each method first)

We will then get those stitches cast on, and get knitting.

You will then have two weeks to continue knitting your sock down to starting the heel for part 2.

During part 2, you will learn how to create your heel flap and pick up your stitches ready to continue knitting the foot part at home.

Part 1 Wednesday 8th October 1-3pm

Part 2 Wednesday 22nd October 1-3pm

Instructions will be give to graft your stitches for the toe, however, if you need any further help with this, you are welcome to arrange an extra session at no extra cost.
