Klimt Style Free Motion Embroidery Christmas Tree

Join textile artist Sarah for this glittery workshop of scraptastic fun. You will create an up-cycled piece of festive art based on the art of Gustav Klimt. You will have a large selection of shiny fabrics, scraps, felt, netting, sequins and threads to choose from to begin your work. Once your work is layered, you will be using the sewing machine with free motion techniques to stitch your creation. This is a fantastic workshop for people keen to develop skills or learn free motion techniques in new and exciting ways. The finished piece will be approximately 20cm x 20cm.

Participants are welcome to bring their own sewing machine, or we have machines available to use during the session.

Skill Level: Suitable for beginners upwards
