MATILDA! (A PLAY BY A TO ZEE CREATIVITY CHILD ACTORS)

An adaptation of the book Matilda, by Roald Dahl, about an intelligent, book-loving girl named Matilda Wormwood whose neglectful, dishonest parents ignore her brilliance, leading her to play pranks and discover telekinetic powers, which she uses to defend herself. Matilda adores her kind teacher, Miss Honey, and intensely dislikes the tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.

Our cause this year: Dakshinachitra.

Any profits go to their program to educate Government school children from low income backgrounds - packages include bus fare, entry tickets, art activities and lunch fuelling creativity, and making accessible art and culture.

• We have two shows at Spaces, Elliot's beach (Sat/Sun Dec 13/14, 6pm)

and four shows at Alliance Francaise, College Rd (Mon/Tue Dec 15/16, 4.30pm and 7pm)

• The shows are entirely acted by students aged 7-17 years.
• All shows are accessible to wheelchairs.
• We aim to have a short interval after Act 1.
• Tickets once purchased cannot be refunded.
• Please allow plenty of time as both venues have issues with parking-best to carpool or get dropped off and fetched later.
• Please use mosquito repellent for outdoor venues
• Please carry water.
• Please do not take photos or videos during the show as this is distracting to other audience members and also to the actors. When they do curtain call you are very welcome to take photos.
