Dean McPhee
Dean McPhee plays a Telecaster through a valve amp and subwoofer with percussion and effects. He is influenced by dub, British folk, underground electronic music, Kosmische and psychedelic rock. A self-taught musician with a fluid, understated technique and an inventive approach to the instrument, his sound continues to evolve from his earlier sparse, echo-laden solo guitar music to a heavier, more multi-layered sound with deep bass and hypnotic percussion, riffs and loops.
John Haycock
Having trained with Gambian griot and kora master Jali Kuyateh, John takes the 21 string African harp and runs it through a series of electronic devices creating lush soundscapes, and then overlays it with woodwind instruments, bridging the gap between ancient West African Folk melodies and modern electronica, visiting influences from hip-hop to ambient to dub along the way
ADRA
For a long time Andy Abbott was synonymous with celebrated Leeds bands such as the ferocious duo That Fucking Tank or the double-drumming psych outfit Nope. However, in recent years - under his solo moniker ADRA - he has been making minimalist abstract music, alongside more acoustic and ambient-leaning explorations. His current 'ADRA-phonics' electric guitar set utilises multiple amplifiers and loop pedals to create an immersive 'sphere of sound
