What is Rhythm Time?
Rhythm Time is all about giving children the gift of music through fun, interactive classes. I’m passionate about helping little ones grow in confidence, develop new skills and enjoy the magic of music alongside their grown-ups. Every session is carefully designed to use music to support your child’s development while being lots of fun, engaging and full of energy.
What is Woodland Wellbeing
Woodland Wellbeing is based in woodlands and green spaces around Sheffield, enthusiastically sharing knowledge about the natural world through play, creativity - often around the campfire. Newfound skills learnt by the child and parent or carer aim to inspire confidence and improve quality of play and presence of mind in the outdoors leading to greater wellbeing and care for the natural environment.
What will a Woodland Wiggles session look like?
We will gather outside the J G Discovery Centre at 10am. From here we will amble to our camp which is about a 1 minute walk up an accessible path.
Woodland Wellbeing will greet you with an array of natural materials and a multitude of sticks for everyone to decorate and create their own instrument.
Once the creations are ready, Rhythm Time will lead us on a musical journey of nature inspired songs.
To finish, we will take it in turn to toast marshmallows and apples over the campfire.
