What’s resulted is a step beyond anything either band oraudience might have expected - a deeply rewarding voyageinto inner space which moves into darker and still moreevocative sound-worlds whilst remaining fundamentally offthe map. Influences know no bounds in this context, and thelistener would be forgiven for locating the atmospheres andsoundscapes of this album on some sonic promontory aboveand between the potent abstractions of Tim Hecker, theimprovisatory excursions of The Necks, and the gothic allureof Bohren Und Der Club Of Gore.
‘International Treasure’’ is the next chapter in a story whichonly grows more rewarding with every stop along the way -one in which three heads travel together deeper into their ownmusical journeys, and the resulting alchemical powertransmutes its origins into gold.
