Whilst we occasionally run ticketed Friday Night Specials, entry for our regular weekly Thursday club nights is on a first-come-first-served basis and unticketed and we do not take advanced seat bookings.
Entry for regular club nights is free, we pay our guests by way of a *CASH* collection. Whilst we understand that some simply haven't the means to make a contribution and absolutely DO NOT wish to exclude them, we expect those who can to make as generous a donation as they are able in recognition of our guest's work.

Life is full of unexpected ups and downs, illness, weather and other unexpected things can spoil the best made plans. We may sometimes have to change our guest at short notice, or even cancel an evening altogether. To avoid disappointment please re-visit the relevant night's event for updates *BEFORE* setting out.

AKA 'The Little Band With The Big Sound'
The Sons Of Rodger are Ian White (percussion) and Nigel Parsons (vocals, guitars, harmonica, songwriting). They have a rich musical history, having played together & separately for coming up to 60 years (gasp!), with musicians such as Frank White, Joe Cocker, Lou Rosenthal (Ian Gillan, Merseybeats) and at venues such as The Cavern Club, Wigan Casino, The Lyceum, The Crucible, Crookes Folk Club. They've also recorded performances for BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing.
You can expect original songs from their forthcoming album (in production at the moment) and covers from a diverse range of artists, including: Gerry Rafferty, Billy Bragg, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, The Beatles, Neil Young, Fleet Foxes, Squeeze, Show Of Hands, …
