The Midsommars w/Simply Strings [Early Evening Show]

HEEL TURN PROMOTIONS & CORPORATION SHEFFIELD PRESENT… THE MIDSOMMARS!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve collaborated with The Midsommars to craft a very special show on the Sunday of Tramlines weekend!

If you’re unfamiliar with them, The Midsommars are one of the most talented up-and-coming groups in the county. They are a gothic folk vocal ensemble conjuring haunting harmonies, eerie atmosphere, and reimagined traditional songs from around the world.

Combining candlelight, storytelling, and immersive visuals, The Midsommars perform intimate, otherworldly sets with strings, ocarinas, and bodhrán drums. Known for their spellbinding presence and raw emotionality, they revive forgotten tales and melodies with a dark theatrical flair.

It’s an inclusive, multi-lingual, multi-cultural tour-de-force that has taken the local scene by storm in a very short amount of time.

They will be playing a special hour long performance curated especially for the day, and will feature expert accompaniment from the masterful Simply Strings.

Special guest for the show is James Ashe - a very impressive youngster that we’re sure you’ll all enjoy.

Additional support comes from an acoustic set from the brilliant Echoes of Obsidian, and a highly anticipated performance from Firegarden frontman Jake Mann.

Tickets will be on sale shortly (£8 advance / £10 on the door). For now, get Sunday 27th July marked in your calendar and be prepared to be mesmerised by the Midsommars at this very special one-off EARLY EVENING performance!

Show is 14+. Doors at 4pm, and will conclude by 8pm.
