Sunday Scratch Dance #2

Come and join us for a lovely chilled out afternoon of folk music and dancing!

What? "Do it yourself" folk dancing, mostly balfolk/Euro (European couple dancing such as mazurkas and schottisches), with some ceilidh / contra / Playford if people volunteer to call. Anyone can turn up and play and/or dance. Beginners very welcome, there won't be formal teaching but people are very friendly and will help out if you've not done it before! Families and children welcome. This is a queer-inclusive space and gender-free terminology is required where dances are called.

When? Sunday 15th June, 2-5pm.

Where? Upstairs at the Banner Cross, 971 Ecclesall Road, Sheffield. On lots of bus routes. Sorry, not wheelchair accessible. (Please get in touch if you know of a similar low cost venue that is!)

How much? Suggested donation £5 to cover the cost of room hire. No-one turned away for lack of funds.
