Sonido Polifonico presents Slug Milk with support from Trve Yorkshire Kvlt Ensemble at Bishops House

Slug Milk is folk drone straight from the bog. Slug Milk is a group of humans that, when playing sounds in unison, form a terrestrial gastropod mollusc. Slug Milk is not uniformly herbivores. Slug Milk does not play music in daylight.

This trio of darkweb summoners (siblings lvcyth, lvrzdvrk and zvrvn) translate hex code into ear-splitting air. Samples of tremolo guitars, crowed vocals and the chopped and scrambled voices of one or two actual crows erratically repeat while blastbeats get lost amongst a wash of feedback. Code is co-edited in realtime in a hacked-and-haunted IDE. Kick drums occasionally invoke the spirit of disco due to a slippage of klaw on kaoss pad. Zvrvn's recent resurrection has added pseudo-latin and a disfigured drum machine to the ritual landscape. It's the sound of demons spewing out of ancient laptops, packets lost to the abyss.
