Fantastic night last night at The Hallamshire House with TC and The Hoodoo Shakers. Thanks to Tim stepping up and doing a solo support slot.An interesting reimaging Ice Ice Baby. And again as always thanks to crowd who turned up to support live music and local artist rather than sit at home and watch Glastonbury( disappointedly shakes head.) Any way some chap down the front was so balled over by the performance of the TC's that he asked when the next gig is.Well it's our pleasure to announce our Tramlines gigs.
Saturday 26th of July sees us joining forces with The Neepsend Social Club to bring you and afternoon /evening of top quality entertainment and at no cost.
Kicking off we have our own Texan troubadour Ash Gray on his own or he may have help from his mates no matter what incarnates it'll be worth getting down to see and maybe stake your claim for space for the rest of the event.
Next up the shuffling ,scuffling, rhythmic blues machine that is The 20ft Squid Blues Band .Always popular with the punters and with good reason these chaps never fail to entertain.
"WHO'S NEXT?"Well it's Rotherham's own blues journeyman the brilliant Tom Kilner in his no nonsense trio form to deliver some high octane blues with a Joe Cockeresk twist.
Back to the original question "When is the next TC and The Hoodoo Shakers gig?" Well it right here so get yourself down. And no excuses.
How can you possibly top that considering the calibur of the bands that have already melted your face.Well sit down and maybe take some prescribed medication before you read on.
We've only got The Lightning Threads to close the event for us (yes deep breaths and breath slowly)They'll be taking to stage with their blues rock juggernaut sound.Who knows the bass player might come down into the crowd to asses the damage.
So there you have Saturday...........But wait if I may quote the comedy genius that is Jimmy Cricket "There's more".To keep up the intensely high energy levels our good friend DJ Paul (Chrome Dome)Carlton will be spinning tunes for your entertainment. He'll have his list of bangers and floor fillers to unleash but if you've a track you quite like or would embellish the ambiance then I'm sure Uncle Paul will be only too happy to oblige.
So yeah that's Saturday for you (please don't thank me buy me a gift) Tell yer mates, bring em down and they'll be most impressed........................................Oh Have I mentioned what's happening Sunday?
STAY TOONED.
