Whilst we occasionally run ticketed Friday Night Specials, entry for our regular weekly Thursday club nights is on a first-come-first-served basis and unticketed and we do not take advanced seat bookings.
Entry for regular club nights is free, we pay our guests by way of a *CASH* collection. Whilst we understand that some simply haven't the means to make a contribution and absolutely DO NOT wish to exclude them, we expect those who can to make as generous a donation as they are able in recognition of our guest's work.

Life is full of unexpected ups and downs, illness, weather and other unexpected things can spoil the best made plans. We may sometimes have to change our guest at short notice, or even cancel an evening altogether. To avoid disappointment please re-visit the relevant night's event for updates *BEFORE* setting out.

Local alternative stand up poet Goodnight D. Not your bog standard poetry peddler but a poet that packs a poetical punch!
"Although a lover of Thomas Hardy and Wilfred Owen most of my poetical inspiration comes from delving deep down within and trying to work out the emotional fallout from human interactions! My emotional go to are northern musicians arctic monkeys. Reverend and the makers and Richard Hawley.
"I never forgot my grounding in plays from the 70s I watched with my mother. I learnt oranges are not the only fruit!! I cut my teeth performing often as the only poet with a bunch of musicians and at my show have guests Ian and Graham from Wath who made me feel at home again back north and the quirky talents of duo Dan and Orange. Enjoy the show!!"
