Canning & Pickling 101

Summer veggies are bountiful and ready to be put up! Plan ahead to preserve your hard-earned garden items and fill your pantry with delicious canned and pickled vegetables that you can enjoy all year long. In this demonstration-style class, Chef Amanda will cover the essentials from vegetable selection and canning methods to creating brines and properly sterilizing jars. You'll also learn about important supplies and go home with a freshly canned jar of something delicious!
