Join Us for a Day of Dance, Rhythm, and Culture!
Morning & Afternoon Dance Classes:
10:00–11:15 AM: Adult Jazz Dance – Explore Broadway-style jazz with isolations, across-the-floor combos, and a fun routine!
11:30 AM–12:30 PM: Adult Belly Dance – Discover fusion belly dance blending Middle Eastern and Western styles.
11:30 AM–12:15 PM: Kids’ Hip Hop – High-energy fun with footwork, isolations, and cool choreography.
12:30–1:15 PM: Kids’ African Dance – Learn traditional African rhythms and steps with Master Drummer Zorkie Nelson!
Lunch Break (12:30–1:30 PM): Enjoy local bites at Brimstone Bakery, Black Cat Cafe, Stewart’s, or Log House.
1:30–2:30 PM: Community African Drum Class – Join Zorkie in a drum circle to learn Ghanaian rhythms.
2:45–4:00 PM: Community African Dance Class – Feel the beat and experience West African dance!
4:15–5:00 PM: Stretch Class – Unwind with a gentle cool down and relaxation session.
7:00 PM – Gballoi West African Dance Company Performance
Experience the electrifying rhythms and dynamic movements of Gballoi, an acclaimed ensemble from Accra, Ghana. Led by Master Drummer Zorkie Nelson, Gballoi has toured internationally and collaborated with the Wynton Marsalis Orchestra. Don’t miss this high-energy celebration of West African dance and percussion!

Let us know which classes you plan to attend (drop-ins are welcome!) and how many young dancers will be joining you for kids' classes so we can plan accordingly.
