Family Funn Day at Atsion Lake for RDCC members & their invited guests. Enjoy a fun day at Atsion Lake in Wharton State Forrest.
A guarded swim beach, hiking trails, restrooms and boat rentals are available. Recommend coming early as it is a popular swim and picnic spot. Registrations recommended. Paddlers should meet at the boat ramp for a group paddle at 11:00 Contact Reg for details. FEE $10.00 per car to enter the park.

Atsion Lake in Wharton State Forest is a 62 acre lake with an average depth of 5 feet.
There is a $10 entry fee. (Except for those with a Senior Pass)
There is a picnic area and restrooms.
Paddle the lake -exploring the shoreline and coves -and possibly explore the headwaters of the upper Mullica if the water level is high enough.
There is a swimming beach and 2 short hiking trails to explore independently if you wish.
Bring water, hats, sunscreen, bug spray
PFD (must be worn) and snacks.
