From the 30th June until the 3rd July 2025, Seville is hosting the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development.
This will be an occasion to rethink the future of development cooperation and how to mobilize resources to fund the #SDGs.
The agenda is full of crucial debates:
30th JUNE: Maximizing Diaspora Remittances and Investments: We will explore how remittances (over USD 685 billion by 2024) can drive growth, with a focus on cost reduction, digital solutions and #InclusiveFinance. Presentation of strategic programs of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
1st JULY: The role of philanthropies: We will build a coalition of public, private and philanthropic resources for #BlendedFinance and #ImpactInvestment. Co-organised with United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, Wings Global, Fundación "la Caixa", SpainNAB!
- From Recovery to Resilience: We will address how to unlock sustainable financing in the face of growing risks and make the case for more investment in resilience.
- Development Agencies in Action: We will reaffirm the catalytic role of international cooperation to accelerate #SDGs, despite challenges.
- MOU Signature with Gates Foundation! A crucial step to strengthen our cooperation in #globalhealth and development.
2nd JULY: Financing Health for a Safe and Sustainable Economy: We will analyze the challenges and opportunities for building more resilient, inclusive and sustainable health systems.
