2025 Food Preservation Workshop - Back to Basics!

Let’s start getting back to the basics of food preservation!

Learn the why’s, how’s, and benefits of home food preservation, with or without the need of standard canning equipment, through hands-on demonstrations led by CCE Seneca Master Food Preservers.

We will discuss simple freezing and dehydrating techniques for:
- freezing fruits, vegetables, jams, and pie fillings
- dehydrating fruits, vegetables, and herbs, using an oven or microwave

Participants will have samples to taste and make strawberry freezer jam to take home along with dried herbs and recipes.

Cost is $10/person.
