Get ready for an adventure in the undergrowth! As part of National Insect Week, we’re inviting families and nature lovers to join us for a Big Bug Hunt at The Haining—a fun and fascinating journey into the world of insects.

Explore the beautiful woodlands and help us find out what creepy-crawlies live there using hands-on survey techniques like sweep netting, tree shaking, and pitfall traps. Everything we discover will be added to the Haining 1000 Species Challenge, contributing to a growing record of local wildlife!

This is a perfect event for families, young explorers, and anyone curious about the tiny creatures that play such a big role in our ecosystems.
