Welsh & Company with The Geoducks
A night of original music celebrating the traditions of Americana, Country, Folk, and Bluegrass
The Geoducks is a young Seattle duo playing lively self-written tunes driven by a firm respect for improvisation. Their tunes are decidedly contemporary yet embued with the traditions of folk, bluegrass, jazz, classical, klezmer, and swing. Henry Wine and Hank Sebring grew up playing music together, forming The Geoducks when they were ten years old and commanding the stage at the Northwest Folklife Festival that same year. Now after seven years together, The Geoducks draws returning audiences at festivals and stages throughout the Northwest, including the Moore and Paramount Theaters, North Cascades Bluegrass Festival, the Tri-Cities Tumbleweed Music Festival, Seattle Theater Group’s Thing Festival, and year after year, the Northwest Folklife Festival.

Be prepared to get your dance on to foot stompin’ train beats, rippin’ guitar solos, and full-throttle jams. With a focus on classic songwriting and storytelling, Welsh & Company has something for everyone.
