Seattle Waterfront: Trail strolls, market bites & sunshine vibes!
This month, we’re heading to the waterfront for a choose-your-own-adventure kind of day! Whether you're up for a scenic walk or just want to soak up the buzz of Pike Place Market, we’ve got something for everyone.
Walkers will kick things off at Magnolia Park, descending via the Magnolia Bridge Ramp — a gentle downhill slope with sweeping views over Elliott Bay and the Seattle skyline. From there, we’ll follow the Elliott Bay Trail to the newly opened Waterfront Park by Pier 58. The walk is approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) and includes a mix of paved trail and urban waterfront.
Non-walkers can join us later at Pike Place Market for a relaxed lunch in the sunshine — grab a sandwich from Le Panier or some legendary mac and cheese from Beecher’s, and we’ll find a spot to chill and chat.
After lunch, there’s time to explore the market or nearby waterfront. Walkers can choose to return to Magnolia Park on foot, or catch a bus or Uber.
