It's a Summer Vintage Clothing Swap! But wait, there's more!
I will be moving to Portland in August and will likely be downsizing. Everything from vintage furnishings to cans of beans could be part of the give away.
The clothing swap will remain much as it always does.
Here's How it Works:
-Bring at least three pieces of vintage or repro clothing/accessories to trade. (More is most welcome)
-Throw it in the communal pile. (There will be a separate area for fragile things)
-Strip to your slip & try things on.
-Take home new clothes.
Please also bring a potluck snack or drink to share. It's Summer, and this is an evening event. Many of you I may not see again for a while! So let's make this a fun one! We'll pop the prosseco and play some tunes.
-Feel free to invite your vintage friends who would appreciate this event if they aren't already invited.
-No late comers please. The swap works best for all if everyone is there to start diving into the pile at the same time.
Things Left Unclaimed: Usually, leftovers are stored away for another chance at being swapped next time. However, since I am moving I am asking that at the end of the evening we all pitch in to make the pile DISAPPEAR. Reselling is usually strictly forbidden, but I am going to allow it this time ONLY for leftovers. At the beginning please take only for your personal use.
