Fresh Mochi Gallery is pleased to present their newest upcoming exhibition, TruckerHat & Pickles, featuring Bette Burgoyne and Reilly Jensen, two of Seattle’s most remarkable and stunning visual artists.
Burgoyne is known for her small biomorphic color pencil drawings that depict vague suggestions of trees, clouds, fungi, water, science fiction illustrations, and enigmatic musings.
In contrast, Jensen’s large scale assemblages are hand hewn soft sculptures, housing rusted industrial scraps, that reveal devilishly teasing stories about staying sane in an unrecognizable world.Together, the artists seem to be saying: let’s escape the madness or have fun trying.
