Looking for a little bit of dance learning and practice to start off your week? Each Sunday Dance Snack will include one hour of learning on special topics (this month we'll work on some upper body isolations to use during mellow moments of urban kiz music!) followed by an hour of practice.
Who: You, of course! This class is open-level, although it is recommended that you have taken at least a drop-in kizomba or urban kiz class to access the content of this month's class.
What: Hour-long, stand-alone dance classes on special topics (this month, again, focusing on upper body isolations). Classes are $20 per class, with registration required by noon on Saturday the 17th. Venmo @Laine-Anderson-2 to sign up and please specify whether you're taking the class as a lead or follow.
Where: Lowdown Ballroom (Capitol Hill)
When: 3-5 PM on Sunday, May 18 (NOTE THE LATER START TIME THAN USUAL THIS MONTH!)
Refund/cancellation note: If you pre-register for class but then have to cancel, 24-hour notification is needed in order to be able to receive a refund.
About the instructor: Laine (she/her) has been dancing kizomba for let's just say a long time, and urban kiz for about six years. She believes that the most beautiful dances feel gentle, accepting, and musical.
