Unicorn Volleyball Club (UVC) Summer II 2025 Volleyball League (outdoor 6s) at Lower Judkins Park across 3 divisions: C, B and B2. No BB/A players are allowed to play in the B and C divisions. B2 may have up to two BB players on the team with the rest comprising of B players. The final decision is up to the discretion of the tournament director. C will generally have beginners still learning how to consistently pass and serve. B will have teams with players who can spike and get 3 touches in consistently. BB/A will have players who are consistent in passing, spiking and some/great setting abilities. Please ask Tim what division you should be in if you don’t know.
TIME/LENGTH
5:30 pm - 8:00pm
7 weeks on Thursdays including the last week as playoffs. First day of league is 8/21/2025. Each week, teams will play 3 matches with 2 sets per match. We will try to accommodate if there are cancellations due to extreme weather but if we’ve played 20 sets by week 6, we will not try to make up games. That’s why we do 6 sets per day to get in as many games while the weather is ideal and daylight is plentiful.
PAYMENTS
$500 per team of 6 players and $50 per additional player. A change this season is that every team is guaranteed an optx volleyball which is gifted to the captain unless the team is a free agent team. Venmo payments may be made to @Tim0926. Captains are responsible for full payment of the team unless you’re a free agent. In that case, each player must pay their own fee to be placed on a free agent team. Confirmed teams are those that have submitted payments and will have an asterisk next to their Team/Captain name. All payments are due by 8/1/25 At that point, your spot is relinquished. Confirmed spots are based on first paid basis.

Please post in the discussion if you are a free agent looking for a team and which division you’d be in. We will gather all the free agents to create a team.
PLAYOFFS
For Playoffs, a team may not have more than one sub. You may add a player on your team up through Week 6. Please plan accordingly. We’ve seen way too many leagues have over half the team be subs and it’s unfair to other teams.
We reserve the right to refuse any subs if they are playing at a higher level than the division (B /Rec Div) or higher level than the person they’re subbing for (BB/A).
