South Hudson Music Project Presents: Royal Room Collective Music Ensemble Mondays

Composer Wayne Horvitz leads a 14 piece ensemble with a “who’s who” of Seattle's finest improvisers. Playing music by Horvitz, Robin Holcomb, Ornette Coleman, Herbie Nichols, Carla Bley, Ingrid Laubrock, Thelonious Monk, Bill Frisell and others, the music is transformed and re-invented using "conduction", a technique developed by the late Lawrence "Butch" Morris.
