Savoy Fridays Presents: LIVE Music with midnight starlight!

This week calls for another exciting edition of Savoy Fridays at the Lowdown Ballroom, featuring the “Around the World Tandem Charleston Workshop” with Undre Reed and Grace Durant followed by the incredible sounds of midnight starlight!

This playful variation on Tandem Charleston brings fresh flair to your jazz dancing. Charleston itself is a rich and expressive style within the swing dance family, and Tandem Charleston is full of fun transitions and dynamic shapes. In this workshop, you'll learn how to execute this advanced move with calm clarity and confident rhythm.

Then, dance the night away with LIVE music from midnight starlight and social dancing until 11:00 PM!

Admission is just $8–$15 sliding scale, or FREE for Savoy Swing Club members (join at savoyswing.org/membership). No partner or sign-up needed—just bring your enthusiasm and join the fun!
