Rooftop Vibes After 5: Our 3 Year Anniversary Celebration

Next week, we’re throwing a special edition of Vibes After 5 to celebrate 3 years of bringing Black Seattleites and our allies together. If you’ve ever pulled up to one of our mixers, you know the vibes are unmatched. And if you haven’t yet? This is your time.

What started in May 2022 has grown into:

• 5,000+ attendees

• Hundreds of brands + nonprofits spotlighted

• Friends-turned-family (literally, cousins reunited!)

• Businesses launched, new partnerships formed, local missions elevated

• And so many dance floor and picture moments we lost count

This week hits especially hard because it’s also Mother’s Day week. We’re honoring the woman who showed up at our first event and instantly became everybody’s mama - Tanise’s mom. She and Tanise’s dad prayed over us, hyped us, and reminded us why building community matters. She is one of the many reasons we keep going. But equally as important is Derrick‘s family and the history of their heritage and impact on the world for generations.

And for us, Sync Seattle, cofounders Tanise and Derrick? Social impact is deeply rooted in our marriage and everything that we do, so much so that we met volunteering. Won’t you come celebrate with us and invite about next Thursday?
