Photowalk: Downtown Seattle - Overlook Walk

Join Kate Hailey for an exploration through Seattle’s newest tourist destination, the Overlook Walk. This park bridges Pike Place Market to Seattle’s Waterfront area. It boasts great views of the city, including Elliott Bay. It’s filled with photographic opportunities in architecture, street photography, and more.

We are meeting kind of early to avoid some of the foot traffic that can occur this time of year.

WHERE TO MEET:

PARKING:
The closest parking will be the Pike Place MarketFront Parking Garage

Street parking will be free, as it is a Sunday, but street parking will potentially be several blocks away.

PUBLIC TRANSIT:

Just about every major bus route has a stop on 3rd Ave at Pike or Pine, as well as Westlake Station is in that same vicinity. Its just a few blocks to the Market.

WHAT TO BRING:

Your fave camera + lens combo, with a clean memory card and fresh battery. Film & digital cameras are always welcome!

Wear comfy walking shoes and layers of course, and consider a rain cover for your gear, just in case.

Open to all levels of photographer.
