PhotoFest: Photowalk around South Lake Union with David Julian & Fujifilm

Join us on for a photowalk with Fujifilm Creator, David Julian! David will lead a guided Photowalk to South Lake Union to practice creative techniques on the go.

This session will meet outside on the Deck of The Collective on the south side of the building, on the corner of Harrison Street & Dexter Ave N.

WHAT TO BRING

• A camera
• A wide angle/zoom lens
• Rain cover (optional, depending on weather)
• Layers and comfy walking shoes

LOANER GEAR

Get ready to experience Fujifilm firsthand! Fujifilm representatives will have a selection of Cameras and Lenses available to use and try out during the walk. Gear is limited in quantity and only available for registered attendees. Please bring a memory card and valid identification for the gear loan.

While all PhotoFest events are free, registration is required to attend. Due to limited capacity at each venue, entry is granted on a first-come, served basis.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Dave Julian is a Seattle-based photographer and photo-educator who enjoys helping others explore their vision and improve their craft. His work appears in dozens of publications including Nikon World, Outside, National Geographic Traveler, Islands, After Capture, Outdoor Photographer, Digital PhotoPro, FujiLove and twelve podcast episodes.

He leads cultural travel and street photography workshops in the Pacific NW, Europe, Vietnam, India and Cuba, and for Santa Fe Workshops, Maine Media Workshops, Vancouver Photographic Workshops, PCNW and BlackRapid, Glazer’s Camera and Kenmore Camera. David is also lead instructor for the University of Washington Photography Certificate program. He is a member of Fujifilm’s X/GFX CREATOR photography team.

Now in its 16th year, PhotoFest continues to exceed our wildest expectations. The three-day event includes a broad spectrum of on-location shoots, studio settings, photowalks, lectures, and product demonstrations.
