PETUR ILIEV BULGARIAN DANCE WORKSHOP

Petur is teaching again this summer at the Pacific Northwest Ballet and Seattle Balkan Dancers is excited to host him for another special workshop of Bulgarian dances. He grew up in the Shope region of Bulgaria where his father was a dancer and his mother a singer. He graduated from the Bulgarian National School of Dance Art and holds a B.A. from the Bulgarian National Institute of Choreography in Sofia, Bulgaria. He began his professional career as a Principal Dancer of the Kutev National Dance and Music Ensemble. He has taught at many camps and workshops in the US and around the world. Don't miss this opportunity to experience his high energy and enthusiastic teaching.

Following the workshop there will be dancing to requested recorded music until 10:30.
