Bring your imperfect, your unpublished, your beautiful works-in-progress to Pearl, a queer story salon.
Pearl is a casual reading followed by a low-pressure creative workshop. Bring your own story of any genre or form to read aloud, or listen and bring questions to discuss your writing and creative projects. This is a space to speak ideas into being, ask for feedback or advice, and forge queer creative community irl.
We're thrilled to host this month's salon at the Friend Museum. Non-alcoholic drinks and wine will be available for purchase. If you'd like to peruse their amazing vintage and art, come before their closing time at 5pm!
Info: Bring a piece of your own writing to share, or an excerpt from an author you love — any work that takes about 5 minutes to read aloud. Reading is optional! Feel free to listen.
Info: Have a question about your creative project? Facing writer's block? Bring them to this open and casual workshop time to hear thoughts, feedback, and guidance from fellow creatives.
