Join the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild for all things deconstruction & salvage. Katie Kennedy will introduce deconstruction & salvage, giving us an overview of Seattle Public Utility and their process when it comes to deconstruction & salvage. Dave “Deconstruction Dave” Bennick, will present practical steps for salvaging materials from a building and how to find salvage materials that will work well in your next project. Sean Conta will share his experience as a builder buying, using, and working with reclaimed lumber on his projects. Learn how demolition and re-use can save resources and reduce environmental impact. Whether you're a builder, designer, homeowner, or sustainability advocate, this session will offer practical knowledge and inspiration for your next project.
