Join us for an in-person workshop and meet contractors!
You will learn about the RainWise program and how you can apply to get a rebate for a cistern and/or rain garden.
RainWise rebates combat pollution! With every storm, rain carries pollutants off our roofs, driveways and other hard surfaces to local creeks, Lake Washington and Puget Sound. Rain gardens and cisterns can help control this stormwater, but we need your help! In selected areas of Seattle, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties.
This in-person workshop is for homeowners in RainWise-eligible basins throughout Seattle who are interested in learning more about the RainWise program and rebates. At this workshop you will learn:
We'll cover the rebate process, selecting a contractor, and you'll have a chance to ask questions with Program staff and an inspector. Then, you'll have a chance to hear from a fellow RainWise homeowner and possibly talk with RainWise contractors about your future project!
We recommend that you check your eligibility for a RainWise rebate in advance at https://700milliongallons.org/rainwise/eligibility.
