In an Imperial Harem in a place like India in a time like 1666, in a land far away and, yet, somewhat familiar, the women of the court live on and idyllic estate - House of Joy - protected by an all-female guard. Men cannot physically enter the House of Joy and the women cannot leave. Witness a story of loyalty and betrayal, oppression and justice, politics and romance, told in a way you've never seen anything before!
May 16th through June 8th.
Performed at Seattle Public Theater, at Green Lake.
