Yes, we are committed to doing a MONTHLY birthday dance at OmCulture. Generally, we'd like to focus on one elder in the dance community to honor AND we will also celebrate all birthdays that happen within a couple weeks of the dance date.
This month's dance is SPONSORED (which means FREE to all attendees) by Bob Pretlow. Bob's birthday happens to be on Sept 4, but he has asked that the dance be a celebration of all Sept birthday dancers. Huge thanks to Bob for hosting!
We'll have two DJs - Lilli Ann Carey and Zachariah Cassidy! Lilli Ann will also offer a 30 minute 'ice-breaker' lesson just before the dancing begins. Music will be a nice blend of all of your favorite dance tunes and styles with a good bit of Waltz, which Bob loves.
As always, we'll have a full complement of snacks and beverages available.
