Flowing out from the caverns of the club into a more intimate affair, Dream Pool’s branches are blossoming again under new soil. We find ourselves in the cozier walls of Gallery 1412, meeting us in the evening to create a more limited affair to get a quick fix of soothing tones. Soft washes of ambient synthesizers and dreamy pop echoing out of the bedroom glisten with us on new walls, beckoning those shaken by the heat to come sit down and cool down for a time. Max Stephens is providing us minimal, instrumental, and ambient music based around acoustic samples and modular synthesis.
Boxdoom is shepherding us through psybient soundscapes for the journey he’ll bring us.
Safemind will bringing to us a minimal sound with circling granular patterns, warping into a witness of erosion, performed on home made instruments.
Minke Tahar is a multi-instrumentalist producer and songwriter based on unceded Duwamish land, so-called Seattle, WA. As a member of Day Soul Exquisite, she can be heard on KNKX live, KEXP live, and has performed on stages like Neumos, Timber Fest, and Tractor Tavern. In her solo set, dusty driving drums, warm warbly synths and spiraling sparkling keys weave together a hypnotic and intoxicating tapestry decorated with Tahar’s plaintive lyricism. Tahar uses an MPC live, Nord keyboard and a line 6 dl4 to craft a sound reminiscent of jazz, neo-classical, and jungle influences.
