Ecstatic Dance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DJ: Raymond Castonguay
with opening invocation by Phoenix Rose.
— Vibe
Pulse beneath stillness. A cry wrapped in silk. A trembling footstep into the sacred darkness and light.
This is not just a dance — it is a remembrance. A spiraling current of love’s many faces: soft, wild, broken, reborn.
— Theme
The Six Phases of Love
– Pure Innocence
– The Longing to Be Made Whole - the Fever Dream (and Undoing) of Romance
– The Mirror of Darkness
– The Turning Inward
– Love of Humanity
– The Divine Thread
— Description
There are two faces of love that do not fade: Innocence and the Divine.
One is the child — open-eyed and in awe with wonder.
The other is the timeless — vast, luminous, without edge.
Everything in between is the dance… and we must dance through all of it.
This journey asks for your body in dance — but also your memory, your ache, your surrender.
We begin with our heartbeat in the cradle and our innocence, then we dance through human desire for love, honeymoon’s bliss, loves’s withdrawal, and disbelief’s silence that follows.
Then — if we’re listening in that silence — comes a different rhythm.
- The rhythm of letting go.
- The rhythm of becoming.
Let yourself be held. Let yourself be broken.
Let yourself rise through grief, laughter, and skin.
Until even the broken pieces shine with the same light they came from.
We are not here to escape the fall.
We are here to fall/dance through it — together —
into what never left us:
Love becoming itself again.
