It will be 4 bachata songs for every 1 -2 salsa songs 🎶
it really just depends on which dancers show up to dance.

3-4 hours of fun music. Park closes at 10pm. I will show up around 6:20pm just to scout the area and check in with the local vendors. Please support the local vendors.
Its a weekday , so ending the night around 10pm.
Please help us keep the park clean, and trash free.
Bring friends if posible Carpool to the location.
Parking is free after 6pm at the waterfront side street parking.
Everyone is welcome, you dont need to be part of a dance group or class. A place to practice dancing, social gathering of dancers.
Please be respectful of others . If you have any questions on dance etiquette we can help with that.
Be respectful
Gage peoples level of connection & level of dance.
If you are a beginner dancer please let your dance partner know.
Please no acrobatics (even though its cool, its more of a social setting )
Also some people only dance with set partners or groups of friends. Just make sure to check in and see who else is available to dance.
Some other tips.
Bring a water bottle.
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Bring backup shoes.
The floors are not hardwood floors…
I would recommend some smooth sneakers that have little to no grippiness… fuego dance shoes work well for this outdoor setting. I am not affiliated with fuego shoes but you might be able to snag a discount from one of the SCT instructors tho.
Public restrooms are located near by…
If you feel unsafe or need a friend . We are here for you. Let a dance friend know or any dj know. You are not alone . Come say hi to us.
This is truly a free event. DJs playing will have a Donation Box or Jar near the dj area. Some will have a venmo available. You are under no obligation to pay anyone for these free public events. We do appreciate the donations but it’s really more about enjoying the music.
In the case of other groups using the space. We can shift right over to the overlook walk area. This area is pretty large and there is plenty of space for some dancing. We can figure things out as we go. I will post the day of the exact location near or at the pier area.
