Join us for the annual gathering at the Seattle Center International Fountain.

This is an event that was started by a fan after Layne passed away. Since the first gathering in 02’ it has become an important part of the tribute; one that kicks off the celebration weekend.

We would encourage everyone to come, especially if you’re attending for the first time. It’s an opportunity to meet people you’ve maybe only known through social media or through email. At the gathering, you can make future plans, catch up with returning attendees and light candles.

In the past, we’ve sat in a circle and sang together. Layne’s mom Nancy will be in attendance (she is every year). Plus, maybe we’ll see Layne’s dad, Phil too.

If you choose to light candles, you can decorate your own and bring them. The time is set for 7pm, however, many of us get there earlier. Please make sure you dress for the weather as this is strictly outdoors.
