Welcome back, milongueros! You will be happy to know that OmCulture will continue running monthly Milongas on 3rd Fridays (alternating with Alternative Tango on 1st Fridays).
Our new format will be to start each dance with a fun 'cool move' Rueda style lesson with the one and only Michelle Badion. The lesson is designed as an ice-breaker in which all participants pair up and practice and intro step, a 'cool move' in the middle and an outro step at which time all follows move up or down the line, Rueda style. It's super fun, allows all leads and follow to meet and dance with each other and gives everyone the opportunity to learn one more 'cool move'! It's a lot of fun and sets the tone for the dance which starts immediately after the class.
This month we are very pleased to welcome back Barry Hashimoto as our DJ. Barry has not DJs with us for more than a year! We're excited to hear what new music he has added to his repertoire. Welcome back Barry!
