Time to celebrate International Elliptical Cycling Day and ride in celebration of Brent Teal and Bryan Pate inventing the ElliptiGO!
💦🚴♂️💦🚴♂️
Stay cool while riding this "splash ride"! Route will be the same as prior years. We'll leave from Chaparral Park in Scottsdale and stop by a few splash pads to cool off as we go along the greenbelt and paved canals, with some bike lanes and lower traffic roads mixed in. In addition to the splash pads, we'll stop by Arizona Falls along the canal and McCormick Stillman Railway Park.
💦🚴♂️💦🚴♂️
We will BEGIN riding at 6:15 AM. Route will approx 25 miles (see strava link below). We'll be heading north and south of the park, so there will be options to cut it short if you want. Come prepared with water / etc , but there are drinking fountains throughout the route if you need to refill bottles. This ride will be a casual pace - no rider left behind.
🚴♂️💦🚴♂️💦
We'll meet in the parking lot near the north end of Chaparral Park (by the baseball fields and Xeriscape Garden).
Park address is 5401 N Hayden Road, Scottsdale 85250, but Chaparral Park area runs north and south, so that address may take you a bit further south near Jackrabbit. The area where we are meeting is the north end of the parking lot, by the southeast corner of Hayden and McDonald.
As always, friends/family are welcome to join us on "non-ElliptiGO" bikes!
***RSVP on facebook or to 480-206-2404 or
