These Shining Lives (Staged Reading)

Authenticity Theater is proud to present a Staged Reading of this unique and special play. Along with director Samantha Raeburn, the majority of the cast was preparing a production of this play during college years, but the show was cancelled as a result of the COVID pandemic. We are excited to give the cast another chance to bring this story to life. Don’t miss this special event performance.

THESE SHINING LIVES chronicles the strength and determination of women considered expendable in their day, exploring their true story and its continued resonance. Catherine and her friends are dying, it’s true; but theirs is a story of survival in its most transcendent sense, as they refuse to allow the company that stole their health to K*ll their spirits—or endanger the lives of those who come after them.
