In this 6-week limited series class, we will play with a wide selection of mediums as we explore personal themes. You will learn how to lay down different paints, inks, papers, and imagery to help you design an art page with meaning. This course is an uplifting and fun experience that will inspire you to continue a creative practice.
This class is for all artist levels. It is beginner-friendly and great for brushing up on skills.
You will need your own mixed media or watercolor journal. A size 9x12 is recommended. All other supplies will be provided.
All genders or non-genders are welcome! This class is for ages 12+
We will have treats, snacks, and plenty of drinks at this event. Bring a friend and make some memories inside the lovely gallery at Heck.house.

Class Dates: 6 Thursdays starting Aug 14th and 21st (skip Dragon Con) Sep. 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th.
Limited to 10 spots. Signing up is required by clicking "Buy Ticket." There is an option to pay in person. To hold your spot, you will need to pay for the first and last class at least.

The fee is $25 per class/week per student. $20 goes to the art instructor, Sylkia, and $5 goes to Heck.house. There is an option to pay full price ($150) OR a deposit for the first and last class ($50) with weekly payments.

Instructor: Sylkia Webb/ Kristi O’Neal
Kristi is a professional artist with a degree and certification in art education from Georgia State University. She has taught many mediums at all age levels. She has also taught in a variety of venues, including public school systems, art centers, programs, and private lessons. Kristi is a member of the Heck.house board and acts as our Art Education Director.
