Scarecrow Contest

We are happy to announce our very first Scarecrow Contest! Local residents and businesses are invited to join the village in creating a magical fall experience for visitors and residents. Don't reside in the village, or are on the outskirts? Feel free to register to use the library's yard to display your creation in our very own "Scarecrow garden"

Timeline and Expectations:

September:
-Enter your scarecrow into the contest with the Schuylerville Library by September 24th to get your creation on the map!
-CREATE your scarecrow and have it ready by October 1st

October:
-Friends, family, and the public will be able to stop by the library to grab a scarecrow map and ballot.
-Voting for best scarecrow runs from October 1st-31st at the library during regular business hours

Winners will receive a gift card to Kickstart for 25 dollars!
